Missed a week there. oops.

CURRENTLY AIRING SHOWS

Star Wars Rebels
: S03E08 & S03E09: Those two eps focused mostly on Ezra and Kanan, who I don't really care for. (Quite frankly at this point the only explanation for Ezra's Hondo-related stupidity is that loves has blinded him.) I totally called the revel in "Inside Man", but I thought they'd leave it for the finale. But it was super well done! I loved everyone's reactions from Zeb's apologectic "I didn't kill him, so I guess we're friends?????" to Hera still not trusting Kallus to Chopper's enthusiasm. ALSO NEXT EPISODE WE GET MAUL YES

Lucifer: S02E10 & S02E11: Also a show with a reveal that was well done but came unexpectedly early. The show also keeps throygh expected characters into situation where they have to interact and it's great -- Dr Linda and Lucifer's mom? DAN and Lucifer's mom? Amenadiel and CHLOE's mom? Who also apparently knows Maze, I want to see that! I continue to really enjoy this stupid show and really look forward to the second half of the season.

The Librarians: S03E02 & S03E03: Also quite fun. I feel like this season is slightly too manichean in its views of Egyptian and Norse myths and/or that our interpretations don't quite match up. I prefer my Frost Giants not as evil but as amoral forces of nature -- but lol at Stone telling a roomful of Frost Giants his favourite natural disaster was global warming at their reactions. I'm going to headcanon that Anubis was under Apep's influence in the werewolf episode.

Legends of Tomorrow: S02E07: This was the final episode of some sort of crossover I didn't follow. I ship Sara/Kara now, idc that they're in different universe.

Class: S01E07 & S01E08: Episode 7 is made of tropes I love (people coming to care about each other despite differing interests! PEOPLE MEETING THEIR GODS AND RAGING AT THEM) so that was amazing. It's even a fucking roadtrip episode, in a way. My favourite of the eps this season. The season finale was also quite good, if heartbreaking. There's something almsot poetic in Charlie having to kill April to be able to use the cabinet when she was the one who made it so he didn't have to use it the last time. I thought the show would pull its punch with that and have Charlie's people show up again, but no. MATTEUSZ LIVES! I was so worried about him and Tanya but they both lived!

NOT CURRENTLY AIRING

Luke Cage: S1E010: I feel like I'm watching this more out of obligation that anything by now. I just DO NOT CARE about Diamondback. And there goes the obligatory CAin and Abel reference.

Miraculous Ladybug: S01E03 to S01E16: This show is super cute! And continues to give excellent Paris, despite how empty the streets are (animation budget!). I have vague amorphous thoughts about Paris and this show and this show in general, but for now suffice to say that what I ship most is not the two-pople love square but Alya/Ladybug.

Nirvana in Fire: E06: Have made no progress.

CURRENTLY AIRING SHOWS

Star Wars Rebels
: S03E07: Eh. Teenagers, more teenagers, not enough Sabine and Sato and his nephew don't look related to me (but then I'm bad at faces). Thrawn and Sato's ~worthy adversary~ brief dialogue made me ship it.

Lucifer: S02E09: DR LINDA! Standing up to primordial forces of the universe for her patients <3. Chloe helping Lucifer kill Lux. Maze deliberately embarassing Amenadiel, aw. This show continues to be great fun.

The Librarians: S03E01: IT'S BACK! :D I was worried for a moment that they were going to make Seth the bad guy -- there was a close-up on a dog-headed god carving and I was ready to rant especially since it was Anubis -- but it was Apep, so all is forgiven! (Seth gets a bad rep.) I shoudl have trusted the show more -- after all, it's the show that named Lancelot as the son of Ban. Anyway, Antikythera mechanism!!! I loved Cassandra this episode and Eve and Jenkins and Ezekiel and the Stumpy shoutout, but Jake had my favourite line with "'Pure Evil'? As opposed to 'fake evil'?".

Legends of Tomorrow: S02E06: It's my favourite Western genre: timetravelling western! (Look, there's Back to the Future III, this episode and one other from this show at least, that's three examples, that makes it a genre.) I ended up shipping Sarah/Jonah, ngl -- if nobody writes that fic and calls it "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy", I will be very disappointed with fandom.

Class: S01E06: This was a really lovely bottle episode and in real time on top of that! Creepy concepr, really well executed. I loved getting a better view of the characters, including their darkest sides. Matteusz and his dodgy Narnia analogy, awwwwwwwwwww. Quite excited to see what Quill's been up to.

NOT CURRENTLY AIRING

Luke Cage: S1E09: STILL don't care about bloody Diamondback. Especially with his Bible obsession or whatever -- and yet nobody's made an Esau and Jacob reference or even a Cain and Abel one. I spend all the time he's on screen dreading one anyway.  Also, the music from the credits grates on me. I WOULD WATCH HOURS OF MAD SCIENTIST!CLAIRE, THOUGH.

Nirvana in Fire: E06: Have made no progress.

Miraculous Ladybug: S01E02: Have made no progress.

OH HEY SO I'M FINALLY CAUGHT UP ON THE SHOWS I'M WATCHING

CURRENTLY AIRING SHOWS

Star Wars Rebels
: S03E06:

FINALLY A SABINE AND MANDALORE EPISODE I AM HERE FOR THIS

I appreciated getting the glimpses we got into Fenn Rau's captivity: play space!chess with Sabine and hahaha Kanan's "More like a cranky guest". I feel bad for Fenn Rau. He wanted to do what was right for his people.

Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo as Mandalorians!

So Sabine's mom is maybe working for the Empire?! WHAT

SABINE GOT A JETPACK! :D She's been wanting one for ages.

I'm hoping this episode means we'll get more Sabine content for the rest of the season.

Lucifer: S02E06, S02E07 and S02E08: Trixie accepting Maze's real face is my favourite scene, but it's very very closely followed by Maze and Dr Linda. "He's not dead, but trust me, he's going" places quite honourably -- I needed that, thank you, show.

CANNOT BELIEVE LUCIFER BROKE DR LINDA but thankfully she got over it.

I'm really enjoying Ella. Chloe and Maze roomates hijinks are amazing. Mum is up to no good, but frankly what I want most right now is for Azrael to show up about her knife.

Legends of Tomorrow: S02E03, S02E04 and S02E05: YES FINALLY WE ARE DONE WITH THE NAZIS

This show remains ridiculous, yet entertaining. I quite like Amara, but I'm meh on Nate, as far as new additions go. Still don't really care about Ray, either and the whole ~am I a hero without my suit~ thing isn't helping.

REALLY enjoying Sara as captain, though. I also continue to enjoy Jax and Stein -- especially totally rational fear of zombies. Poor dude.

Class: S01E03, S01E04 and S01E05: April continues to be my favourite -- I have A Thing for characters who tell the world "you will not break me and you will not take my kindness from me" -- but poor Tanya! I feel so bad for her! And the intro with her dad was really well done. Matteusz's "I don't like guns" is probably the hardest I've laughed at this show. Idk, something about the delivery really got to me.

NOT CURRENTLY AIRING

Luke Cage: S1E08: I feel like I should be more invested in this. It's entertaining, but I don't care about Diamondback and him being Luke's secret brother (?) so it makes the show lackluster for me. Less of that, more of Misty, Claire and Shades, please.

Nirvana in Fire: E06: Have made no progress.

Miraculous Ladybug: S01E02: Have made no progress.

READING

What did you finish reading

2015

Sandman Overture by Neil Gaiman (scenario) and J. H. Williams III (art): Well, that is certainly a published comic book. I wanted to like this a lot more than I ended up actually liking it.

I didn't care for meeting the Endless' parents -- yeah, that's a thing now apparently. /does standard comics thing of "only canon that matters is canon I like"

The plot was pretty eh, overall, I have to say. Tbh, I always considered what happened immediately before Sandman to be best left unexplained, because any explanation was (a) not needed and (b) unlikely to live up. As it turns out, I was bright on both counts. I did like the call forward with "Hope", though.

The art is very pretty. Unfortunately, sometimes it's very pretty at the expanse of legibility.

So all in all, it's okay and made disappointing by the fact that I expected better.

Stuff I read and didn't talk about )

What are you reading now

Have made no progress on:
Contes et récits de l'histoire de Carthage by Jean Defrasne
Paris fais nous peur: 100 lieux du crime, de l'étrange et de l'irrationnel, by Claudine Hourcadette et Marc Lemonier
Warhorses by Yusef Komunyakaa
La Controverse de Valladolid by Jean-Claude Carrière

I can never remember/make up my mind: do I talk about US comics as they come out in floppies here or not?

WATCHING

Star Wars Rebels: S03E05:
THE LAST BATTLE OF THE CLONE WARS! Clone Trooper Captain Rex vs Super Tactical Droid Kalani, winner takes all.

SO I SHIP REX/KALANI NOW SORRY NOT SORRY the "old enemies who find common ground and respect each other" dynamic just hit me where I live, okay?

I am having ALL OF THE CLONE FEELINGS, seriously. Cody*! "Clone Order 66"! "A good soldier follows orders", Rex, noooooooooooooo!

I am so glad Rex didn't die. SO GLAD.

It may have been my monitor, or the lighting or whatever -- and I fully expect to be Jossed by the next episode -- but Sabine's hair looked blue and white to me in this ep and I'm going to headcanon it was because she dyed it that way to honour Rex (and if it's back to pink-ish newt ep, I may have to write fic about the fallout of Agamar, re: Rex).

* I cannot believe when the preview came out I thought "Oh hey they got Cody's voice actor back just for this scene, that's sweet". Self, Cody and Rex have THE SAME VOICE ACTOR.

Lucifer: S02E03, S02E04 and S02E05: I can't quite remember what happened when, so you get three for the price of one. I continue to enjoy this ridiculous show greatly. Character interactions are gold and I love how many of the characters are women (Dr Linda, Maze, Chloe, Ella, Mum, Trixie). Dr Linda was a phone sex operator, omg and then there was a bar fight. Lucifer and Dan geeking out over action movies were cute. I grow impatient about getting to see CHLOE AND MAZE ROOMATES HIJINKS. I'm kind of sad Uriel is gone already, for some reason I tend to like Uriel best in ~classic angelology~ and his power here was pretty cool. I do like that we got canon confirmation that angels can be female (Azrael/the angel of death is "she"). Faced with the lack of non-binary/ungendered angels, I'll take 'angels can be male or female, it's whatever'. Also, Tom Ellis does Righteous Fury really well.

Legends of Tomorrow: S2E02: Are we done with the Nazis yet? Like. Seriously. I know Timetravel To WW2 is a well-used trope, but are we done yet? One episode is pretty the price I agree to pay when I get into a timetravel show, twice is trying my patience. At least Sara leading the crew is now oofficial.

Class: S01E01 and S01E02: Well, that was unexpectedly violent. I thought this would be a kid's show! (I did not follow the promos at all.) And yet I was really charmed by all the characters, from super-smart Tanya to Ms Quill the freedom-fighter-turned-reluctant-teacher/bodyguard to April whose bravery comes from kindness.

Luke Cage: S1E07: No progress.

Nirvana in Fire: E06: Have made no progress.

Miraculous Ladybug: S01E02: This show gives REALLY GOOD PARIS, I have to say. To the point that, despite the fact that I was watching the English dib (my search for the Korean dub remains fruitless), I ended up thinking "Genre la meuf va au Troca pour trouver un pigeon. Genre!" ("Like the girl goes to the Trocadéro to find a pigeon. As if!") in French, which usually never happens -- I certainly didn't think in French while watching Legends of Tomorrow, even though it was nominally set in Paris this week. So ML gives great Paris, including aaaaaaaaaaaall the subtle social clues. Yikes. I think I went to school with some of those people. Adrien's social clues are unambiguous, but Marinette's are more confused. Then again, I'm only two episodes in.

DID YOU KNOW X-23 WAS GOING TO BE IN A MOVIE

dhampyresa: (A most terrible case of the Star Wars)
CURRENTLY WATCHING

Airing shows

Star Wars Rebels:
S3E03
: It has been AGES since we got an episode where Sabine got the starring role!
She looks really good with dark hair and the dark uniform and hahaha she beat up Governor Pryce. "My clan taught me better" yesssssssss
Have Kallus and Sabine ever interacted before? Kind of sad we didn't get to see her pass his message along to Zeb Garazeb Orrelios. (Kallus is the new Fulcrum, calling it now.)

S3E04: WHOA HERA DAMN. I want the main arc of the season to be Hera vs Thrawn high stakes space chess (and for the voice acting on Thrawn to sound a little less bored).
Did not expect to feel bad for Chopper -- but then he went back to blowing shit up.
My crackship sails on! They were both on screen at the time at least once this episode; that makes it not a crackship anymore. (It's Sabine/Numa, for the curious.)

[community profile] starwarsfruitbowl is doing weekly Rebels watching posts. (Or I am, rather.)

Lucifer: S2E02: This is a stupid show and I love it so much. I am always 100% there for people getting righteously angry about stuff and boy howdy does Lucifer have stuff to be angry about. I am also always there for fish out of water situation so everything dealing with Mum is gold. I have no idea what's going on with Amenadiel, but I don't like it. I continue to love Ella as a character -- she's a great foil to Lucifer. (I continue to ship Dr Linda and Maze.)

Legends of Tomorrow: S2E01: I did not expect this show to be back so soon! It was entertaining. I could have done without the new dude being, well, a dude, but alas.
This week they did the tried and true "Timetravel vs Nazis" episode. In an unlikely twist for the genre, the Nazis didn't win WW2 in that new timeline. I know I was suprised too. I appreciated that Stein was the most affected by this. Anyway, they win against the Nazis.
Also appreciated the physics nerding out and Mileva Marić getting her due credit.
Then they get scattered in time and space. I think that was supposed to be Arthurian times? Hey, non-Breton Arthurian folks, is it reasonable to assume something set in Tintagel 831 is meant to be Arthuriana?
It's cool that they haven't forgotten Sara's bisexual.
Okay, was I supposed to know who the speedster at the end was? And Justice Society of America!

Toy Soldiers from Deirdre on Vimeo.

BOOM! CLONE FEELINGS.

I'm quite impressed the vidder managed to not jar me by switching between early Clone Wars, late Clone Wars (there's a definite shift in the animation about halfway through*) and even live action at one point.

* Late Clone Wars has my favourite animation of the Star Wars cartoons. It goes late Clone Wars > early Clone Wars > Rebels. Rebels is weirdly smoothed and streamlined, early Clone Wars is spiky. Late Clone Wars strikes a good balance. /CGI animation feelings

I have returned and have posted fic.

Six fics, some I posted a while back and forgot to talk about here (first two), two I posted before travelling but stuck into the Anonymous collection until now (next two) and two I just posted, because I just titled/finished them (last two).

Splinter (1440 words) by sevenofspade
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: DC's Legends of Tomorrow (TV)
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Characters: Sara Lance
Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence
Summary: Sara Lance and the things that never happened to her.

The fic I wrote for this year's [community profile] everywoman. I wished I'd been able to make it as long as I wanted to, but alas I couldn't.

Light before us (555 words) by sevenofspade
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Ancient History RPF
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Characters: Livia Drusilla, Octavia Minor
Summary: Livia visits her sister-in-law.
The fic I wrote for [community profile] history_exchange . The title is the first line of Indochine's Little Dolls, translated into English. (I was kind of on a giant Indochine kick for a few months there.)

The Once and Future Camelot (The It's Only A Model Remix) (1186 words) by sevenofspade
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Demon Knights
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Characters: Madame Xanadu (Demon Knights), Merlin (Demon Knights), Sir Ystin | Shining Knight (Demon Knights)
Additional Tags: Future Fic, IN SPACE!
Summary:

This is a very different Camelot, with spaceships and science and technology the world has never seen.

Xanadu seeks out Merlin.
My fic for [community profile] femmeremix . By sheer coincidence, I had just found this fic a few days before assignments went out. Clearly this was A Sign. The italicised line in the summary is from the original fic and it's such a great image I had to something with it.

Demon Knights actually one of the few Anglophone canons that has a proper Merlin and the fact that he's canonically demonspawn and ages backwards in it is part of why. The bit about him not having a soul now that he's under seven is based on a sort of obscure bit of French folklore than holds the seventh birthday as when children acquire a soul.

DEFCON 3 (1530 words) by sevenofspade
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Characters: Natasha Romanov
Summary: Natasha hunted HYDRA to Miami. She wasn't the only one.
The fic I wrote for [personal profile] muccamukk 's MCU Rolling Remix challenge. The challenge was great fun! I wish I'd had time to go through the fics thoroughly while they were still anon, but alas.

The Crack of Ice (3046 words) by sevenofspade
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America (Movies)
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Relationships: James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers
Characters: Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanov, Wanda Maximoff
Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Avatar & Benders Setting
Summary: Steve's identity as the Avatar was a closely guarded secret. Yet trouble still had a way of finding him.
True story: This fic has literally been finished since JANUARY 2016. It just took me fucking ages to find a title for it.

Five people on StarKiller Base who didn't listen to Anakin Skywalker (and one who did) (3235 words) by sevenofspade
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Star Wars - All Media Types, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Characters: Anakin Skywalker, Ensemble (The Force Awakens), Obi-Wan Kenobi
Additional Tags: Force Ghosts
Summary: Being a ghost, Anakin thought, was very frustrating.
This fic first suffered Severe Tone Shift Syndrome when Obi-Wan showed up (did you know him and Anakin have issues?), then spent months being literally ten sentences from being done which was incredibly frustrating, but I finally made it work.

And now, sleep.

I spent a lot of time this past week dealing with [community profile] nightonficmountain related stuff. There were several issues, some of which I was responsible for, some of which I was not. At one point I was both "comes back with pizza to find everything on fire" and "mod laughing alone with salad" making me "mod with salad on fire" -- this metaphor got away from me. Anyway, [personal profile] morbane is amazing and a lifesaver. You're the best, Morbane.

READING

Finished reading

Continuing me making my way down the list of stuff I read in 2015. (I know. Shut up.)

Books read )

Chats d'oeuvre, by Susan Herbert (read in 2015): It's a book redoing classic works of art and movie posters with cats as the stars. It's cute, but that's it.

Still reading

Contes et récits de l'histoire de Carthage by Jean Defrasne

Le Déchronologue by Stéphane Beauverger: One more chapter. Everything still batshit and amazing. Villon (our narrator) experiences first hand the effect of time canons and some of his crew get really fucking creepy after catching a case of the oraculars -- I'm being glib, there's no such thing as the oracular, but that one guy does say something to the effect of "the Oracle of Deplhi saw the paths of the future, I walk its crossroads" and given this book it could be totally literal!

Partial list of comics I am following, which I will add to as I remember them:
Lucifer
Scarlet Witch
The Wicked + the Divine (sort of. When I remember it exists)

AND fannishly I am reading the fancomic Star Wars Destinies and it is very good!

Reading next

idk.

WATCHING

This is as far along in these shows that I have watched. I would love to talk about any of these. No spoilers for currently airing shows, please, but I don't care about shows that are complete.

I'm going to try and move this to another post at some point (Telly Tuesday?).

Jessica Jones (s1e2 00:00)
Supergirl (s1e3 00:00)
Agent Carter (s2e3)
Lucifer (s1e13 00:00)
Legends of Tomorrow (s1e12 00:00)
Clone Wars (s3e16 00:00)
Underground (s1e7 00:00)
Shannara (s1e6 00:00)
Daredevil (s2e1 00:00)

Lucifer: OMG WHAT WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT WHAT I thought this would be the last episode, but there's one more. (13 episodes, it's pretty fitting.) I am both excited and apprehensive. Please everyone be okay.

Also, I love the friendship between Chloe and Lucifer -- even though she doesn't believe he's THE Lucifer, she does believes he believes it, so when it matters she'll play along. Also also OMG MAZE IS AMAZING OMG. Some brilliant acting from all three of the supernatural trio and I really enjoyed that fight scene.

Also also also, I love that the show sticks to its guns with regards to Lucifer only ever wanting "to be [his] own man" and with regards to the philosophy of Lucifer is a giant dork, humans are the real evil.

Legends of Tomorrow: I loved this episode. It had all the Western tropes I love. It reminded me of the third Back to the Future movie, but in a good way. KENDRA AND SARA ON A ROADTRIP I loved it and mostly got two things out of that scene: aw, past!Carter was called Hannibal (this show knows me too well) and the obvious loophole to "loving non!Carter dudes doesn't work" is LOVE A LADY Sara is right there (also, I wouldn't exactly call whatever happens when you love Carter working, old!Kendra) I really loved Captain Cold this epsiode, but then I always love Captain Cold. I am forever entertained by Wentworth Miller on this show and this episode's black ensemble looked really good on him. And I like that he got to bond with Stein. The Jonah Hex/Rip Hunter vibes were massive. All this said, I would have liked slightly less Ray and slightly more Jax.

Underground: I feel like every week I praise the twists on this show, but guys IT HAS THE BEST TWISTS but they are so good and I don't wanna spoil them but I wanna talk about them but... also I am now shipping all combinations of Rosalee/Noah/Cato, idc.

Clone Wars: I don't even know what is going on with this fucking show anymore.

dhampyresa: (Epic shit happening on the internet)
Dear [community profile] nightonficmountain Creator,

Thank you for writing for me! I'm sure whatever you write me will be wonderful.

Feel free to poke around this journal or my Ao3 account (username: sevenofspade) if you want to. My letters tag is here.

I have three Do Not Wants: incest, rape and child abuse. When these are canon, please don't focus on them. I'd also prefer is you didn't dwell on any suicidal ideation or prolonged descriptions of grief. I would also prefer not to have to deal with people losing things important to them and toxic living arrangements, be that family or roomates. Thank you.

On the other hand, there are a lot of things I do want. Here’s a partial list. (I obviously don’t expect you to stick all of these in one story, that would be impossible.)

General likes )

Ancient History RPF

Dido of Carthage, Hannibal Barca, Scipio Africanus

The most relevant tags in my journal for this fandom are the Ancient History RPF and Punic Wars RPF ones. I've requested these characters before, but I would fucking love anything and everything about them.

Here is a primer for Hannibal and Scipio, with more relevant links at the end. Here is a post about Dido (and Augustus) -- you know what, I never thought of it before, but I WOULD FUCKING LOVE A STORY IN WHICH DIDO AND AUGUSTUS MET.

Prompts )

Darths & Droids
Any of: Annie (Darths & Droids), Ben (Darths & Droids), The GM (Darths & Droids), Pete (Darths & Droids), Sally (Darths & Droids)

I only started reading this recently, but I'm pretty caught up, give or take a week or two. Don't worry about spoiling me. I headcanon the GM as a woman, fyi. (I talk a very little about it in this entry, if it helps.)

My request here boils down to FRIENDSHIP FIC.

Prompts )

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (TV)
Kendra Saunders, Leonard Snart, Sara Lance

I am up to date on this show, don't worry about spoiling me.
Prompts )

Gwen Variants (Marvel Comics Covers)
No nominated characters

The canon is a series of variant covers Marvel put out last year to promote the Spider-Gwen comic launch. Each cover reimagines Gwen Stacy as one (or more) Marvel character.

I like Gwen Stacy a lot. I think she's super smart and really kind and amazingly brave, be that in Spider-Gwen or the movies or Ults Spidey. I love canon-adjacent AUs too, especially role reversal AUs (I hesitate to call these canon-divergent, but they could be!), so this fandom is basically two great tastes that taste great together!

I'm just going to direct you to the relevant part of my yuletide letter from last year for prompts, because it is HELLA LONG. Pick any and all Gwens you want and feel free to mix and match prompts as you wish.

Loki: Agent of Asgard
Relationship: Verity Willis & Loki

I follow many Marvel comic series and have followed more in the past. Don't hesitate to crossover with the wider Marvel-verse; if you have questions about my familiarity with any given series, please ask.

The Loki + Verity friendship is a thing of beauty and I love it so much. This series has a brilliant narrative about the role of stories in our lies and what it means to be a Trickster. It's about Loki achieving redemption, at long last and on his terms (long version here).
Prompts )

Yoko Tsuno (Comics)
Relationship: Yoko Tsuno/Khany

First thing I ever shipped. I would love culture clash or negotiating a (very very very) long distance relationship where they only see each other in person once in long while or being spacemoms to Poky and Rosée or consequences/what-happened-after a specific album or just space adventures. OR TIMETRAVEL ADVENTURES, why should Yoko get all the fun timetravelling, I'm sure the Vineans have the tech somewhere.

I would love it forever if you wrote any sort of Vinean worldbuilding. What's it like for Khany to be older than her mom and have her twin be six years old?

Just anything, anything at all, really.

Thank you so much for writing for me!

(Comments welcome.)
