I go away for a week and fandom pretty much explodes. How fucking typical.

CAPTAIN MARVEL IS GETTING A MOVIE! I am very excited about this. (So is Black Panther, but my knowledge of T'challa is limited to the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon and the one trade I flipped through that had his sister be the Black Panther.) With any luck, the catsing will be better than the Wanda and Pietro casting. Admittedly, I'm terrible at faces/slightly face-blind, but why doesn't Wanda have curly/wavy hair? Her hair looks so flat; it's oddly distressing. Pietro's hair is an absolute disaster too. (I don't suppose finding an actual Jewish and/or Romani pair of actors was ever an option? Thanks, Hollywood. /sarcasm) Also, is that a French flag I see in the protest in the Age of Ultron trailer? DNW Hollywood!France. DNW.

Yuletide assignments are here! I got mine. I like it! I was literally looking at the letter just before I got the email. No, really: I closed the letter tab and refreshed my email and there it was. On the not-so-good/wtf side of thing, I seem to have lost my physical copy of the canon. WTF? I still have the digital copy, but still. Whereever did it go?

Undecided if I'll watch Age of Ultron when it comes out, but I definitely +1 your DNW as far as Hollywood!France goes. Blech.

I'll probably end up seeing AoU in cinemas, but argh Hollywood!France is so terrible and MCU!France isn't much better. (I literally shouted "NO!" at my screen at that one AoS scene. Because NO.)

Je vois que tu as trouvé toutes les infos Marvel, sinon je l'aurais mentionné. Je suis très contente qu'il y ait de la diversité perso féminin / POC. J'attends toujours un perso LGBT ou qu'ils canonisent la bisexualité de Steve "On Your Left"/"Till The End Of The Line" Rogers. En plus, j'ai réalisé que je connaissais Carol Danvers du dessin animé X-Men des années 90, alors depuis je fangirlise encore plus.

Ça fait toujours plaisir la diversité, mais c'est vrai que le manque de perso LGBT commence à me courir sur le haricot. (Pourquoi on aurait pas droit à ne serait-ce qu'une ligne de dialogue indiquant qu'on existe, hein?)

J'avoue que mon dessin animé X-Men, c'était X-Men:Evolution dans F3X:Le choc des Héros (je révèle mon age, là). Y a pas Carol dedans, mais y a un épisode avec un flashback avec Captain America et Magneto. Ça doit bien être la seule indication de la partie non-mutant de l'univers marvel, tiens.

Il y avait le vendeur d'ordis dans Cap 2 qui draguait Steve. A part ça, c'est la dèche.

Pas vraiment, tu peux avoir regardé Evolution à tout âge ^^ mais je suppose que tu veux dire que tu es plus jeune que moi. Je n'ai vu que la 1re saison d'Evolution car je préférais la série des années 90. Sinon, j'ai aussi vu Wolverine and the X-Men (même si j'étais déjà un peu lasse de Wolverine) et l'anime X-Men (qui avait bien commencé mais ça n'a vraiment pas duré).
