Date: 2014-04-15 10:40 pm (UTC)yeah, I think Steve would like Star Trek better too.

Date: 2014-04-14 08:32 pm (UTC)I know most of the political events and am failing miserably at the cultural ones, but that's not new. I didn't even know who Troubleman was when they were talking about it.

Date: 2014-04-15 08:13 pm (UTC)I don't know most of the stuff on some lists myself, nor did I know what or who Troubleman was.

Date: 2014-04-16 08:46 pm (UTC)I'm a little surprised the U.S. list doesn't have any sports-related events on it. Isn't Steve from Brooklyn - no one talks Dodgers with him?
I love that Star Wars, and only Star Wars, is checked off of the US list. I can only assume that someone sat down and watched the original trilogy with him and then buckled under the terrible responsibility of deciding where to start with Trek.

Date: 2014-04-16 11:24 pm (UTC)I have to admit I know nothing about sports, but if I had to hazard a guess, I would think it's because the US list was the first created, before they thought to differentiate them, hence why it includes the Berlin Wall.
Probably yes. I hope someone writes that fic.
