Fic Georg Strange Aeons is an outlier and should not have been counted. It's the only one of my fics that has over 1k hits and has about 1k more hits than the next fic with most fics. I am not sure what up with that. Anyway, one of my fic broke 1k hits! PARTY TIME!

A lot of those fics are exchange fics. 9/10 of the fics by hits and 7/10 of the fics by kudos.

I still think Strange Aeons is one of the best fics I've written.

I'm surprised by some of the fics on these lists. 19 steps to restore someone's stolen property is not my best work, Prom Night is written for a tiny fandom and there's a grand total of three (3!) Hannibal/Scipio fics in the top ten by kudos.

Mostly I'm laughing because of how low my hits and kudos are compared to netgirl's. Comes with writing in small fandoms. On the other hand, I don't care. I write in small fandoms, so what? I'm proud of what I write.

It's awesome when your best fics are also your most popular, because it's sometimes the silly off-the-cuff ones that really take off.

Comes with writing in small fandoms. On the other hand, I don't care. I write in small fandoms, so what? I'm proud of what I write.

Absolutely the best way to look at it. You can't compare across fandoms, or even across pairings, otherwise the only people writing would be, idk, Clint/Coulson and Steve/Bucky shippers and every one else would be too discouraged to bother.

Speaking of silly off-the-cuff fics that take off, I am really surprised to see CSI: Harrenhal in the top 10 by kudos list.

I'm sure there are people out there in fandom who only write juggernauts pairing to get as much attention as possible, but I've never met any. I just write the things I want to write.

This is a fun meme! I'm always surprised by which fics of mine get the most response. (Though I suppose it shouldn't be, since my top fic for both hits and kudoses is a piece of fairly context-less m/m porn.)

It is funny that the gap between "Strange Aeons" and the others is so wide. I'm not too familiar with those comics fandoms; are any of them relatively bigger than your others? Still, it's cool that the one with the most attention is also one that you're happiest with.

I think Young Avengers is bigger, mostly on account of canon gay, but neither of the two boys involved in said pairing are characters in the fic, so idk, man.
