Challenge #6

In your own space, make a list — anything between one and ten things is a sweet spot, but don't feel constrained by that! - of things that you wish existed in fandom or elsewhere, or that you'd like someone to make for you. Are you dying for podfic of your writing? Do you need icons for a character that doesn't get much fanart? Is there a story you want to read? Are you looking for new canons to get into? Would you like a collaborator for a project?

Maybe you want more people to talk about a certain fandom with, or you'd love to trade ficlets with somebody over email. Maybe you're new to a fandom and would like some recs to start reading, or communities to join. This is the time to ask!

I've got two wishes.

1. For none of my family members to end up in the hospital with nightonficmountain is happening. The stress of having very sick relatives makes it harder to mod the exchange, which in turn causes people to complain about said exchange which makes it harder to do anything. Just. Please. No more. I can't do this again.

2. Something like fandomtrumpshate/fandom auctions for other causes, such as the Australian bushfires or the Filipino volcano eruption, to name two current examples.

I saw an Aussie one, but it was Mad Max specific on tumblr. Nothing yet for the volcano.

Good point. They used to. I took part in ones for Japan after the reactor and the Katrina flooding in New Orleans.

I generally find some of FFA/participant's expectations of mods during exchanges to be extremely interesting. I wouldn't tolerate that in my job, never mind something I do for free.
