I didn't realise the December talking meme was a thing until December had started, so I'll do it in January, instead. I'm a rebel.

I have also joined inkingitout , a comm to reach a yearly wordcout goal. Mine is 200k. That averages at about 550 words a day, which is totally doable, yes.

Also, does anyone know how to crosspost from LJ to DW instead of DW to LJ? (I am terrible at this journaling thing.)

The being French in fandom thing is going to be extremely YMMV.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to crosspost from LJ to DW; you'd have to do it manually (copypaste it over, in other words).

It's possible that somebody might have written a script that can do it, but I haven't heard of one.

I'm not quite sure what this "talking meme" thing is. :Va

As far as I can tell, a talking meme is when you ask me stuff and then I talk about it.

Is English as annoying to learn as it seems like it would be? (I ask as a native English speaker who's tried to learn four other languages to varying degrees and failed miserably at ALL OF THEM.)

re: crossposting, to the best of my knowledge there isn't a way to crosspost from LJ to Dreamwidth. I'm pretty sure it's code that Dreamwidth implemented that LJ never adopted.

(If you do wind up using LJ and DW equally at any point, please let me know! I obviously still use LJ, but I vastly prefer DW.)
