How did you like Agent of Asgard? I was reading it on Marvel Unlimited for a while and then I got super behind on comics.

I LOVED IT SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA

Like, it's got intense platonic m+f friendship and serious considerations on idnetity and stories and what it means to be Loki/a Trickster and the power of stories and what's a story anyway and it is basically made for me. The art is gorgeous too. (I'm requesting it for yuletide.)

READ IT READ IT AND TALK TO ME ABOUT IT

Okay, so I looked back to see how much I've read and it looks like I stopped after #7? The last thing I remember was Loki getting frozen in time by Dr. Doom and Valeria sort of teaming up with Verity. I think?

I feel like all those things you mentioned are things I usually LOVE, but I'm not that interested in Loki so I guess that's part of why I didn't stick with it. (Well, the main reason is I got behind on EVERYTHING I was reading on Marvel Unlimited, but that's part of it.)

Sounds like that's around #7, yeah. That's pre-Axis and the next issue(?) is post-Axis, but other than that you can pretty much follow without anny event knowledge. I have a friend who read the whole run without any knowledge of wtf was going on in the wider marvelverse.

I really really loved Al Ewing's writing of Loki, but also his writing in general. I'd say give it a go? there's some excellent stuff coming up and Verity is awesome, as always. Plus, it's not that long.
