I am very interested in the history of medicine! I have no read this Judith Tarr book, but I remember enjoying the one novel of hers I read, even though it wasn't what I expected. (My fault. I had expected it to focus on Baldwin IV and Saladin a lot more than it did.) That said, "young Egyptian woman doctor in the army of Alexander the Great" sounds relevant to just about all of my interests! Thanks for the rec. /adds to to-read list
