I by no means meant to imply that telling people to get over threats isn't offensive if you don't bring in WW2 nor did I intend to look like I was going for one-upmanship. I am truly sorry if it looked like I was and will try to phrase things better in future. Mostly I was utterly baffled by why Hurley thought having one grandparent who grew up in Nazi-occupied France made her qualified to comment on internet threats; does having four grandparents who went through that means I am four times as qualified? What, exactly, is the thought process here? Because invoking Nazi-occupied France to say threats are harmless is kind of side-eye worthy. (Possibly this is incoherent, sorry. It's late and I'm tired.)
