I don't know, I think it could be a category without sexism in the media, much like "characters with hair" could be a category. It just wouldn't have all this baggae attached to it that it does now.
Yeah, I've changed the gender of characters several times too. In original fic my problem is usually that I have too many women, but you know, whatevs. There are so many authors who only ever have the one, I'll do my bit to rectify the balance.
