I don't know about Axis but I probably will read the Thor and Loki paperback for Original Sin because I'm curious about Angela.
I've always loved the paintings for Abarat. It's what first attracted me to the book and then, I found out that he paints first and writes the story around what he's painted which sounds like an incredibly fascinating process. There are three books now.
