Yeah, I wish we knew more about exactly how it all worked out. It is really hard to picture Hannibal asking for help, even though it's so obvious that it would be a good idea.
The Rose short story is "A Time to Every Purpose". The other two are both about Ben and Hannibal; one with Livia and Dominique, and one with Kentucky Williams.
