dhampyresaAt DubCon, while the Hugo Ceremony was ongoing, before Ao3 won its Hugo, I joked to schneefink that one of my friends had gotten a Hugo, because said friend had just sent me a picture of himself holding an unusual edition of a Victor Hugo book. If jokingly saying "Hugo Award Winner Fanfic Author" rather than "Fanfic author who contributed to a Hugo award winning project" is bad, I shudder to think what that makes my earlier joke. My friend P doesn't even know what the Hugos are!
