I saw Avengers:Endgame. Short reaction post under a cut because that was 3 hours of occasionally very bright and very loud movie so I have a headache, it's 2am so I'm tired and there were bad-for-my-issues fat jokes so I feel like throwing up.
I did not like it. I don't know quite yet if I disliked it, but I did not like it. I was not bored, I liked some parts and disliked others, but I did not like the movie overall.
I did not find the timetravel stuff particularly hard to follow.
They killed Nat. While I know there are many ways to bring her back, I don't think they will. I really wish to be wrong about this, but this... seems to be it for Nat.
It kind of reminds me of what happened to Stephanie Brown in DC comics, post-War Games. People using the lackt of a memorial as "proof" she isn't dead, when in fact she is dead, just judged undeserving of a memorial.
Several characters are in danger of drowning. Fun. /sarcasm
Tony explictly turning into his father was also Unfun. In a similar vein something about the Nebula, Thanos, Gamora and Nebula was handled rubbed me the wrong way.
I LOVE HULK (not Bruce as Hulk, HULK hulk). He was having so much fun smashing that car!
Nebula <3
The acting and CGI were both great.
I have so fucking many questions about the logistics of the Snap and Unsnap. SO MANY
