I have a not insignificant portion of my evening stuck in an elevator with two other people. The woman was on the verge of a panic attack the whole time, even when I tried to distract her with cat pictures. We had no reception at all and the elevator would occasionally shudder up before falling for a few seconds before the brakes kicked in. One of the doors cracked open on emptiness/darkness at one point. We got out a few minutes before the repair man got here, when the door opened on the first floor and we rushed out. I stayed behind to inform repair guy of the details.

The only reason I was taking the stairs was that my knee hurt, I was carrying pizza and I live on the fifth floor. AND THEN I HAD TO USE THE STAIRS ANYWAY щ(ಠ益ಠщ)
