Challenge #1: In your own space, introduce yourself!
I'm
![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
- French. Though I try my best -- and, if I dare say so myself, my English is pretty good -- certain nuances of US/UK/etc culture will sometimes pass me by.
- A FUCKING LIZARD based on how cold I currently am all the time. Please I just want to be waaaaaaaarm.
- Someone who draws often, though I rarely post my work.
- Queer. My gender could be described as "No." but really it and the rest are more *aggressive shrug emoji* than anything.
- Recovering from a shoulder injury that kinda messed up a bunch of things in my life. Among other things, I had to stop swimming and it made typing harder.
- Someone whose taste in music tends towards "shouty with electric guitar".
- Tired. So tired :(
- Always trying to learn.
- A nerd, by which I mean the sort of person who spends a part of a family dinner explaining the difference between the battles of Cannae and the Metaurus or the sort of person who crossreferences three different translations of the Amduat into two different languages for a Black Panther fic (look, there are no extant predynastic texts for what I want, so I might as well use a New Kingdom text, but I will also be referencing the Pyramid texts and this is why no one reads the stuff I write, isn't it)
Challenge #2: In your own space, talk about your fannish history.
I got into fandom about 15 years ago. I was first in the French fandom for manga series like FMA, Naruto or Bleach, mostly as a reader of fic. Then I got into the English side of these fandoms and discovered more fandoms :o And my English improved greatly! I got into LJ/DW style journaling way back when Hetalia was a thing, first exclusively on LJ, then crossposting for some time, then (currently) exclusively DW. I tried Tumblr, it didn't really work for me. I used to post more fic but alas my shoulder injury threw a wrench in that. Maybe this year!
I don't really have a single fandom home. I like many things and I ship many things. I'm in fandom more for the community and the fun-having than anything specific.
Back in 2014 I agreed to co-mod, and ended up main-modding,
