I have six Do Not Wants: allegory/metaphor of real world politics, incest, rape, child abuse, character death and dysphoria. When these are canon, please don't focus on them. I would also prefer not to have to deal with people losing things important to them and toxic living arrangements, be that family or roomates. Thank you.
On the other hand, there are a lot of things I do want. Here’s a partial list. (I obviously don’t expect you to stick all of these in one story, that would be impossible.)

Leia Organa/Sabine Wren
Young Rebels in love! Contrast between Leia being a Rebels pretty much since birth and Sabine being a former Imperial cadet. The story of how Sabine's starbird became the symbol of the Rebellion. Sabine in General Organa's Resistance! Senators Wren and Organa of Mandalore and Alderaan.
Phasma/Rey
F/F SIZE DIFFERENCE! I'm totally down for both Phasma being human and her not being -- likewise, her being undercover Resistance, or not. Canon compliance and canon divergence also both great. Role reversal AU! Rey in the First Order. Phasma in the Resistance.
Rey & Anakin Skywalker
TERRIFYINGLY POWERFUL ANGRY DESERT CHILDREN! I love both Rey and Anakin so hard and I love all the parallels between them. Time-travel! Canon-divergent AUs! Force ghosts! Rey as Anakin's padawan! Roleswap, Rey as Obi-Wan's padawan, Anakin as the Jakku orphan. Straight-up reincarnation fic.
Rey & Darth Maul
Given that Maul has more lives than a cat, I bet he's still around circa TFA. Honestly, I love Maul's kindly old man/hilarious asshole thing he's got going in Rebels and I feel like giving Rey a morally grey mentor would be interesting. Not to mention he wields a saberstaff -- their partnership/mentorship/apprenticeship is meant to be!
Rey/CT-7567 | Rex
TRAGICALLY SEPARATED BY ONE LETTER OF THE ALPHABET :( But seriously I feel like they have a lot in common. They both are extremely loyal, for example. Rex's animosity and Rey's kindness towards droids could make for an interesting contrast. Time travel would be awesome -- Rey would adopt all of the battledroids, hahaha.
Rey/Jyn Erso
Timetravel! Canon-divergence! Battle-hardened Rebellion veteran and hero Jyn Erso giving Rey her kyber crystal pendant for Rey's saber. Stardust and the girl who dreams of stars. Jyn closes her eyes on Scarif and awakens on Jakku. Rey goes to visit Jedha's Holy City.
Riyo Chuchi & Maketh Tua
A Galactic Republic Senator and an Imperial Minister walk into a bar... I'm super curious what became of Chuchi after the Empire happened and I am also super curious how Tua got where she did. Maybe a fix-it in which Tua doesn't die? If you feel like making this Riyo Chuchi/Maketh Tua instead, that's cool with me.
Riyo Chuchi & Mon Mothma
The beginnings of the Rebellion! The later years of the Rebellion -- maybe something set post-Rogue One? I've always wondered how someone could be both an Imperial Senator and a Rebel. How does that even work, schedule-wise? Again, would also be cool with Riyo Chuchi/Mon Mothma.
Riyo Chuchi/CT-7567 | Rex
Chuchi's drive to the right thing is really impressive and matches Rex's -- and since it's a plotpoint in "Trespass" that recognises the personhood of people others might not, it'd make sense she'd see the clones as people. And Rex seriously needs a hug. The fallout from "Trespass" -- or a missing scene -- could be super interesting, but so could something set at another time.
Sabine Wren/Numa
I would love something dealing with Sabine's art. Maybe she completes Numa's armour. I like that Sabine and Numa fall into "the enemy of my enemy" but that doesn't mean they're above taking each other out for the cause. They have a mutual love for explosions and fuck up the Empire's shit!
