After me comes the flood

If you were wondering where I'd been the past few days, the answer is "staying up too late to talk to people".

I went to see Mad Max:Fury Road at the theater (I watch, I squee, I watch again!) then got into a two hours long discussion with another of the people there. I manage to finally put some words on Caesar's vs Augustus' vs Scipio's reasons for war at some during that discussion and it was all around excellent and all the more so for how unexpected it was.

The Saturday night I spend hours talking with lunik_the_bard on Skype, which was great!

I was originally going to go to the Louvre this afternoon, but then I found out about the Seine flooding simulation, EU Sequana, so I went to one of the places. It was interesting! And I good laugh at my own expense because I checked if I lived in a floodable zone, despite the plaque one street over that has the level of the 1910 flood on it. I got some cool information out of it. And a plush frog too.

And now I am staying up way too late catching up on fandom stuff + modding nightonficmountain + writing some Bad Bang (I fear I may be too earnest for Bad Bang, sadly -- hopefully sleep deprivation will make this a proper Bad Bang entry).
