Vid ideas, free to a good home!
Oct. 12th, 2015 09:06 pmI don't vid. I don't have the set-up for it and I very probably don't have the patience, either, but that doesn't mean I don't get vid ideas. It's a good thing I'm not a vidder, though, because they're... slightly wonky vid ideas.
For example, the following three are ideas for vids where the song is in French and there is no visual source, so that's a bust.
If they did a TV adaptation of A Free Man of Colour (or better yet, the entire Benjamin January series), you could do a supercut to La Compagnie Créole's Le Bal Masqué. I think it would be hilarious.
While we're on the subject of "making vids from books", I really wish there was a Percy Jackson and the Olympians adaptation that could be vidded to Indochine's J'ai demande à la lune (this is the orchestral version, not the original, but I like this version the tiniest bit more) because it is seriously the most perfect Luke/Thalia song. It would be heartbreaking in the best way.
The hardest to vid would be the Cu Chulainn vid to Manau's Le chien du forgeron, though. I don't understand why there isn't an anime and 3 OVAs about Cu Chulainn yet, he is the most anime of anime.
