Thank you again for writing the Hannibal/Scipio fic for me -- and, ha, I guess I should have guessed you were the anon asking me how I felt about Gwen Stacy? I'm sorry I never replied to that and you had to track me down on #yuletide, but (okay, this is kind of embarrassing and mostly just a side effect of my anxiety issues) I, um, couldn't figure out if you were sincere or if it was some kind of elaborate _coal setup to ask everyone about Gwen Stacy and also I'm still not really clear on who Gwen Stacy is.
I like your little chart here of the AU divergence -- what I know about Hannibal and Scipio is literally what I put in my Yuletide letter, so a couple sections of Livy, a book of Eutropius, a mediocre TV-movie, a webseries, and, okay, maybe a couple books about tactics. So this is very helpful. Also I agree completely that Cannae was awesome. Not so much for the Romans, though.
Anyway, it was a really excellent story and I loved it and thank you for writing it. (And as it turned out, I got a spaaaaaace AU in another fandom, so it's probably better that you went with lesbians. I got all the tropes for Yuletide! Yesss.)
But mostly I would like to ask, if it is not too forward of me, OMG CAN I READ 65K OF HANNIBAL AND SCIPIO AS LESBIANS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I promise to say nice things.
