Kill Six Billion Demons is about Alison's adventures in a world of angels, devils and gods. Alison is a very charming protagonist, she's a self-hating nerd pretending to be a jock who gets given (accidentally?) a portion of divine power and is sucked out into the world outside hers/ours. She's super brave! She's very scared, but that doesn't stop her from doing the right thing -- one of her key character moments is at the end of the first book, when she's managed to find her way home and yet, eevn though she is by her own admission "scared shitless" she decides to go back and try to rescue her boyfriend. Even though he is a creep. (Similarly: http://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/wielder-of-names-3-47/) I ship Alison/Cio a lot! And basically Allison/her crew, who are all women, it's great! I also really love the worldbuilding, it's really good! Complex without feeling overcomplicated.
