(It was going to be called "A Measure of Wisdom" and structured based on these lines from the Havamal: 54. A measure of wisdom | each man shall have, But never too much let him know; The fairest lives | do those men live Whose wisdom wide has grown.
55. A measure of wisdom | each man shall have, But never too much let him know; For the wise man's heart | is seldom happy, If wisdom too great he has won.
56. A measure of wisdom | each man shall have, But never too much let him know; Let no man the fate | before him see, For so is he freest from sorrow.
It had a framing device of Melisandre talking to the Lord of Light (who is post-Ragnarok!Balder) and then tying various GoT gods and what not to Norse myths. The Drowned God was Njord, iirc. I basically gave up because I no longer feel fannish about GoT.)
Honestly, I don't think my problem is SPAG. My SPAG's fine, it's more bigger picture things I have trouble with? And also just doing the thing.
