Well, the thing is, I like to pretend what happened to Vo didn't happen, both because I like Vo a lot, because I could honestly have done without the Tragic Dead Queer trope and because the thought of Shara having to deal with Vo post-book is fascinating, so I'm pretty sure the sequel would ruin that illusion. On the other hand, I loved City of Stairs, so. IDK.
