In that book, there's a bit of introduction to every short story -- why it was written, how it got published, etc... I've missed those introductions in every single short story anthlogy I've read since them (I'm reading one right now).
YES, Patricia Briggs does the introduction thingie, it's nice. I hardly ever read short stories, so I didn't know it was rare to introduce them.
