Back on track

I've returned to the inetrnet. My absence lasted longer than I thought it would because of family reasons. Fortunately, that seems to be clearing up now.

Over that period, I got my dad into Discworld, my brother into Game of Thrones and my mother into Leverage. I've also reconnected with old friends.

Not a bad summer, all in all.

We're currently (re)watching Season 4 of Leverage and I'm impressed by how in almost all the episode there's something (a theme, a character interaction...) that relates to the finale in some way.

Yeah, for example in "the boiler room job", the team is purposefully 'forgetting' or mangling the bad guy's nickname to the point where the FBI calls him 'the blowfish'. It's a call-back (call-forward?) to the whole destroy-someone's-name thing in the finale.

S5 is great! But it's a bit low on Parker, or is that just me? BTW, I find it hilarious that the show has shipped Parker/Hardison and Parker/Elliot (and Nate/Sophie) in the historical episodes.

I want more Parker, but I almost always want more Parker, so I'm not the best person to judge ;) I loved the episode where she tries to figure out what she likes, and her and Hardison are adorable. Her and Elliot in the historical episode was fun.

I want to see ALL THE PARKER. I loved the episode with the cheerleaders, especially the bit abouthow she thought Hardison was joking about being afraid of heights, it was in character.
