I'm glad to have the Chinese nominations that made it, but it is sad that more of the Chengdu members don't seem to have nominated :(

1) Less interest now the excitement of having it in Chengdu has passed, and/or forgetting they're eligible to nominate this year too.
2) Lower hopes of Chinese works winning, assuming they'll be drowned out by Western votes from Glasgow attendees.
3) Expectation that maybe Chinese votes will just get ditched this year too.

Very fair! That's kind of where I'm at too. WorldCon feels as world as the World series.

I can't say I blame the Chengdu members for not nominating -- I know I didn't bother checking if any French language media was eligible. I'm pretty sure nothing I nominated made it, lol
