On Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday, the English eat plate sized thin pancakes with lemon and sugar on them.

We have Fat Tuesday too! We just have two days for eating crêpes, because clearly we are superior. I didnot relaise the Shrove pancakes had specific garnishes, that's cool!
