I'm thinking of running something similar to muccamukk 's MCU Rolling Remix (ie: like the 'telephone', but with fic remixes), but for Star Wars. Episode movies only, for greater accessibility. Is that something anyone would be interested in?

It's yuletide nominations time (somehow). As usual I am puzzled by some of the modding decisions. I'm still trying to decide if I want to make a fuss over a specific issue. In the meantime, I look forward to trickortreatex sign-ups! (And need to do stuff for fandomgiftbox .)

I might be interested in a rolling remix for Star Wars. There are a lot of nooks and crannies of that universe that I don't know, but I do know the movies pretty well. I've even seen the prequels several times each because my daughter adored them for years.

How much writing time were you thinking of?

Would you be willing to remix across trilogies? For example: remixing a fic about Rey exploring a crashed ship by writing the story of Obi-Wan crashing the ship.

I'm comfortable with all seven movies and am willing to do the sort of cross time remix you describe.

I have a reasonable grasp of Star Wars: Rebels but don't own the DVDs. Season 1, I can get from the library on pretty much zero notice, but season 2 has a longish wait list and so is not nearly as accessible unless I want to buy it (and it was expensive the last time I checked).

I have only seen the first two seasons of Clone Wars and don't remember the details very well. I believe I have access to it streaming, and I know the local library has it on DVD.

The last Star Wars novel I read was A Splinter in Mind's Eye back in the 1980s. I also have not played any of the various related games or read any of the comics. So the EU would be a no. I might recognize the occasional character name and plotline via fannish osmosis, but I'm not sure I'd want to try to remix for that. Although, if there's a decent EU wiki, I'd be more willing to make the attempt.

I could do something for the OT and TFA, and probably the prequels (though I've seen them a lot fewer times, and don't own them). I haven't seen any of the cartoons, and it's been years since I've read the EU, so I wouldn't be comfortable with any of that. Save the Jedi Apprentice books, which I kind of don't want to inflict on other humans. I probably won't see Rogue One until it's on DVD, given where I live.

I would be fine remixing across trilogies.

Episode movies only. (I'm a little shaky on I and II, solid on III.) There's a high chance that, if this takes place some time after "Rogue One" is released, I would be able to incorporate that film, but no guarantee how soon I'll see it.

I would be willing to remix across trilogies, subject to the parenthetical.

I really enjoyed the MCU Rolling Remix! I'm tentatively interested in participating in one for Star Wars, though I'm definitely more into some of the movies than others. The idea of it being episode movies only for greater accessibility is definitely helpful to me, though -- my knowledge of the EU is very very patchy, and I've only seen a few episodes of Rebels and none of Clone Wars etc.
