All step back, I'm 'bout to dance / The greenback boogie

My parents are watching Suits. My dad thinks Donna's the best.

I'm claiming The Devil Went Down to New Jersey (Hamilton musical, gen, 500 words) for the first round of the not!challenge I have running with [personal profile] yuuago about posting fics that are not for exchanges.

I thought Suits was entertaining early on (I'm told later seasons degenerate, alas) and loved Donna too!

All the lawyers I know that I've mentioned Suits to have cringed at the very premise. :p I often wonder if there were a TV show about sf/f writing, would I also cringe? But the lives of writers are probably too boring to inspire such treatment...

Yay not!challenge!

I live here and I can't tell whether they're messing it up or not either, and I have no excuse! Although as far as I can tell, almost everyone who's not a lawyer gets their understanding of American law through legal drama osmosis. :p

And yeah, Suits is not strong on plot. Snappy dialogue and pretty outfits, yes. Plot, not so much.
