It doesn't exist in the comics, which is the most wtf thing about it for me. If it had been Latveria, the events of the movie would have been the perfect reason to explain why Doom would end up ruling the country, but noooooooo. (I realise Doom is with F4 and so not in the MCU.)

You can totally understand the movie anyway! Might even make it better since you won't be bothered by the continuity glitches.
