3 things make a post

1. I'm now an auditor at the Louvre museul for the summer. I'll be attending lectures on Ancient Medicine. Cool stuff.

2. Opera! My dad got the tickets for next season (2013-2014). We'll be watching: Aida (Verdi), La fanciulla del West (Puccini), Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), L'italiana in Algeri (Rossini), La traviata (Verdi) and Madama Butterfly (Puccini). Plus he managed to get the places relatively cheap, it'll be great.

3. My mom broke her arm while twisting her ankle.

Some cinemas where I am show live broadcasts of operas and ballets, so many there's one near you who does.

I've heard of places like that, but they don't do it here, unfortunately. Maybe some day I'll live somewhere that has that kind of thing. u3ub

That's a shame, the one ballet I saw was really great. I suppose you can find performances on youtube, but it's not the same.
