Hang on a minute!

As an aside to yesterday's post, I mentionned MCU Sorcerer Supreme Wanda Maximoff. I realised that there was no way I would ever see that unless someone drew it and that seemed unlikely.

But then I realised. I can draw!




I drew inspiration mostly from Wanda's Age of Ultron clothing and a little from the comics (specifically the headdress, which she wore in her latest solo run).

I also tried to hew closer to what I think was the intent of MCU Wanda's style, ie: witchy goth. Now, I am actually a goth and also a Wanda fan and that's not what I would have gone with, but here we are. Then again, MCU Wanda is, I believe, in just the right age bracket to have fallen quite deep in the My Chemical Romance rabbit hole when Black Parade came out, so who knows.


What do you think? MCU Wanda: MCR fan or nah?

A Sorcerer Supreme Wanda movie sounds a lot better than what we got--but I'm saying this as someone who's not really that into the MCU (I saw the first Ant Man and Black Panther in theaters because my kid wanted to go; otherwise I have never paid for a single MCU experience, and haven't seen most of the movies for free either), so I'm probably not the demographic they're aiming for.
