Exilé sur le sol

dhampyresaEverything is weird with me brain-wise. Not only is my general mood "I HATE EVERYTHING :D", but I'm too jittery to focus on anything, I keep getting weird spikes of terror when trying to fall asleep and the intrusive thoughts are odd+persistent enough that I just texted L to ask her to tell me to not go "full Baudelaire".
My trip went well. Pretty sure I caught a cold when I came back to work, though.
I saw Thor: Ragnarok. Hopefully I'll be able to write my thoughts up in detail at some point, but for now here's the tl;dr: Hela v. goth, Valkyrie v.hot, movie v. metal. I like.
I got to do some fun stuff last week-end that I enjoyed! And learn some potentially useful stuff. And brainstorm some stuff. SO. There is that.
I'm reading stuff! Including the news on my commute. Maybe next week I'll even manage to buy a newspaper instead of getting the free subway ones. I'm also reading some books, but they're stuff I feel weird talking about online because I know the authors, which makes me feel dishonest if I don't mention it and paranoid if I do.
I'm even poking at original writing again, not just writing new stuff (my 2017 nano is going to be a fucking roadtrip so I worldbuild all the things because I want to), but also toying with the idea of editing older drafts. I still have no idea how to go from draft 1 to draft 2 or anything.
