Okay, this was an interesting read, because the reasoning's mostly right, but the results are all wrong.
I tend to stay away from Arthuriana requests, given that I find it really weird and also no one wants fic from the mirror universe (YOU WILL FIND IT IS YOU WHO ARE THE MIRROR UNIVERSE /never letting this go).
I did indeed write for Anndy, but it was All's Fair. (Speaking of Carthaginian myths, that was the closest I came to writing some this yuletide. I didn't even think of looking to see if there were other requests -- it was my long-shot request, the one I never expected to get filled.)
I am vaguely into Hamilton, but I haven't written fic for it.
I need to break this down. One, writing Loki as genderqueer was specifically in the context of Loki, it wasn't a blank check to write all gods everywhere as genderqueer. In particular, I find it extremely specious that the one goddess in Greek myths that had a non-traditionally-feminine domain was the one requested as genderqueer, especially given that there is nothing in the myths (afaik) that can point to this interpretation; it reeks of gender essentialist implications. I'd much rather write Ares as genderqueer, if we're going for "Greek deities of war that show zero indications of any sort of genderqueerness in canon", tbh; at least I wouldn't feel like I'm enforcing 1950s US gender roles. (One and a half, I actually did write genderqueer Loki this yuletide, in Lies told firelight, an Agent of Asgard fic -- the genderqueerness is explicit canon, btw. Also, the canon is amazing, see this rec/meta post what I wrote.) Two, I wouldn't write for alexseanchai. They default with astonishing regularity in exchanges (whaddaya know, looks like they defaulted for yuletide too), have awful prompts and leave truly egregious comments. I'm not going to spend hours of my time writing a fic for a specific person when I know the best comment I can get from them is "Nice". I don't go looking for reasons not to give someone a treat, but if I know, I'm not gonna bother. (In the interest of full disclosure: there are a few people in fandom I want nothing to do with, for various reasons; alexseanchai is one of them.)
I have a specific type of summary I write? Do you mind expanding on that? (Also, no I didn't write Forged of Gold -- I only post finished fics to exchanges.)
For the record -- it's one fic per accurate guess.
